Council calls for safer driving at schools for Term 4
Tuesday, 20 October 2015
Brisbane City Council is calling on parents to stop parking illegally during school drop-off and pick-ups, as it ramps up enforcement at 23 Brisbane schools for Term Four.
During the year we have been working closely with Brisbane schools to reduce congestion, stop illegal parking and improve safety.
For term 4, Council is focusing on 23 schools for safety and parking enforcement. These schools are chosen based on reported illegal parking and complaints from the school communities.
In Walter Taylor Ward, this will include Indooroopilly State High School and Brigidine College, Indooroopilly.
